Meetup: Weekend of 28 Feb 2015 in York

Hi all,
Okay, we can now confirm that the York Meetup is going ahead!
It's therefore time to start booking while prices are still cheap.
You have two options:
- Send me money (via paypal) and I will book for you.
Currently, the price is £34 for Saturday night and £14 for Sunday night (based on three people sharing a room with a double bed and a sofa bed on a flexible rate). We encourage people to travel up on Saturday morning and travel back on Monday during the day (this permutation is cheaper than staying Friday night and Saturday night).
- Book yourself.
We are going to be staying in the Travelodge York Central Micklegate Hotel (http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/422/York-Central-Micklegate-hotel).
By booking yourself, you can choose alternative arrangements to those we propose, above. However, if you choose to book yourself you MUST post up details of your booking (where and when) so that we can plan the event.
Forester and I have already booked in.

You can now count me in definitely as I've now secured the dates off work successfully. I'm happy for you to make the booking but I would have to make a direct bank BACS transfer to you or failing that write a cheque as I don't use Paypal sorry.

We're starting to get a little nervous about the number of people who have told us that they have booked accommodation. Currently, this number is too low for us to run the event. However, several people have announced they are "definitely coming" and when these people are taken into account, we will have enough people to play! Hurray!
Therefore, if you're waiting to book: please book.
If you've already booked and not told us: please tell us.
Note that I am no longer taking charge of bookings. However, I am happy to make connections if people want to share. Again, if you're looking for a +1 or +2 to share a room, please SAY SO.

@Mashibinbin I like in Birkenhead - if you're going by car, can I get a lift there and back with you? Then I only have to pay for the hotel (the trains are super-expensive)
