Hello dearies after a long spell away i'm back i don't have to travel too far so i can do all weekends apart from the mid july 15th ish i think one as I have a languages conference! itcwould only take me 2 hours from work to travel so i m flexible my only thing is i am still not walking properly so might only be able to do certain things

That's a potential 16 Blackpool botherers so far. Thanks to everyone who's posted in this thread.
Before opening a poll to select a date, I suggest we briefly discuss the possible dates. Realistically, it has to be on a (long) weekend. The tried-and-tested schedule would have us all arrive on the Friday early afternoon and then look to travel home on Sunday early afternoon. So we're looking at a weekend between June and August.
I can't do the last three weekends in August and I'd prefer to avoid the last weekend in June. If I had to nominate a preferred weekend at this stage, it would be 9-11 August.
This time, once the date has been voted on, it will not be changed. Also, to compensate for the inconvenience last time around, attendees of the previous meetup will be given two votes each this time around, rather than one.

Oh my goodness, I've been away so long I had to make another account. But this is Becxsmagic/Bex and I am very much interested in another Blackpool meetup. As far as I can tell I should be free except for the last weekend in July but that'll be a matter for the votings.
I haven't been very good at keeping in touch but am very excited about seeing Knightmarers again!

There's no formal mechanism for handling two votes. I'll just adjust the numbers afterwards.

IT IS DONE.
The votes are in and have been counted, and the requested day is: 9-11 August. This was quite a popular date, and has the potential to be one of our bigger meetups, which is very exciting.
I will have a look at accommodation costs and see what we can get.
If you didn't vote, or didn't vote for that date, you are of course still welcome to attend.

Urgh... That puts the meetup right in the middle of several events and the closing weeks of the summer network refresh at my dayjob. >v.v<
All I can do is try and hope that the gods of middle management smile on me. If not, have fun guys and I'll hopefully catch you next time.

Okay, I've begun the hotel search and I've found one that can accommodate us all (twin bedrooms) at about £36 £30 per person, per night (excluding breakfast).

It is done!
The hotel I was aiming for had all their rooms bought out during the night. I thought it was therefore best to book something now, so I did. Unfortunately, it's a few pounds more than I had originally suggested (£140 per room for two nights).
The rooms are twins. Having learned from last time, I'm not going to do room assignments. Instead, find someone to buddy up with and send me money for a room.
It's first come, first served. However, the rooms will be released by 10 July. Therefore if you haven't paid by 10 July, you'll need to arrange things yourself.

Unfortunately, I'll have to bail out of this one.
While the change in accommodation price is noticeable, My dayjob has it's main crunch in August and I've simply too much on. We're in the process of moving campuses, rebuilding client machines from W7 to W10 (approximately 2100+ of them!) and rebuilding the entire AD network to suit.
Couple that with me already having time off in August for working events etc (booked nearly a year ago) and there's no way they'll let me go. Disappointing but nothing I can do about it.
