ABUK DVD

Wouldn't it be great if they could put the pilot episodes on DVD as well? And maybe some of the outtakes?
Incidently, although I don't have a DVD player, most of the computers at my uni have a DVD-ROM drive. I could go to one of the 24 hour labs with a sleeping bag and the discs.......

Yeh well if Anchor Bay do go ahead, i'll let them know about all the available Docs as there's tons of stuff knocking around to put on the discs. Debz's interviews for one

The pilot would be very easily obtainable for them (the 25 minute one that is, I don't know if the 15 minute original test is still available)
Hmm, reckon an audio commentary on at least the very first episode would go down well? I reckon Tim would be up for that

Sounds good, Tregsie. Do your best.

as well as all the extras, hidden bits and stuff that we didnt see on the tv.
and maybe a review of all the bad/good guys.
and a look behind the doors.. how it was made, interviews and so on.. Â might have to be a 3 disc set...lol it will have to include some of the best quests in full

im in norwich at the moment... i could go to anglia square with a chainsaw and demand they make the rights to knightmare available...
then i could run away very fast.
I live pretty close, so I'll join you with some steak knives.

I love the idea of a Tim Child commentary of the first episode or so. It'd be great to have a commentary of an episode detailing how the special effects were done, how things were conceived and so on. Anybody who worked on production/post-production who might be willing to add a few words would be fantastic. (Perhaps TC might have some ideas?)

I really like the idea about a commentary with Tim Child, Hugo Myatt and other important actors/behind the scenes peeps. If they were all together watching the show, it would be great to hear all points of view on their memories of each room/dungeoneer etc.
I like the idea of having the pilot(s) on there as it would be very interesting to see how they progressed from there. They could also include the Chromakey Experiment, which is fab to watch.
The possibilities are endless! Â

Is there any word on this, Treguard? Or anything further we can do? I haven't been to the AB site for ages so I don't know if there's any news there, but it seems a while since we heard anything.

First time i've managed to get on the bloody site since Sunday (knightmare.com)
anyway, the guy at AB said to wait till a couple on months into the new year. they would before looking at  mid/late 2003 releases

Okay, and thanks a lot for all your work with this.

It's very odd. It seems that, often as you try, you can't get on for a few days. Then suddenly you can get on all the time with no trouble. And it affects different people at different times. And some people can't get to the forum specifically, whereas others (like me) couldn't get to the site at all.
