yes, thank you to those who stood up for me. Thank you Illusion - very kind of you to delete that for me. The experience is in the playing, not in the winning. If you DO get stuck, thats part of the game - you use your wits. I know the ending to the second one is very very difficult to FIND, but i have known people to do it on their own accord before, so it isn't impossible. If you do get stuck, you know my email address.

certainly will do! just coz i now have the chance to say it, thank you very much ali as i have enjoyed both your adventures emensely (i know i cant spell).
as to the second ones ending, I went the whole way through the dungeon to that point and....got it wrong. then on second try got it right (by luck) i didn't find out why the spelll worked but now i know there is a way to work it out im gonna try again to try and spot it

edit - erm, highlight the text to read it but it's a kinda spoiler intened for Ali's eyes. anyone else reading should realy play and enjoy the game first.
ok, i worked out how to get the final spell...the riddled spell scroll BUT i never even found the scroll before because i have never gone all the way on the spindizzys before when mellisande did actually say (now i come to think of it) "spin dizzies all the way"

plus the clues about needing to barter so i took gold...etc
nice one Ali...is there actually a way of finding the talisman in the dungeon by going along a different path (i'ver explored most of them i think) or is that just to make gullible people like me play it again and again

I can't get over the fact someone posted a solution. I'm glad I'd completed it beforehand, because I'd have definitely given into the temptation of reading it otherwise. It was a bit spankworthy of them to post it. musters "frowning and imbued with righteous fury" smiley

yah, i realise i only properly completed it just now but i'd won before hand through luck...i can't remember but i think the guy with the solution has only won with luck too because he didnt go the right way at some points to get the final spell...
replays to check if final spell is available other ways

and i sumbit another request for it to be removed. thank you in advancei also ask that "grandmasterpickle" read and fully absorb all that he can from the "i dont like knightmare topic" and stop being what he's being.
if he persists with this then i suggest topic deletion/lockage.
