CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!

I've never visited this forum and I certainly am not going to now. Too many tyrekickers.

It's really hard. Forums tend to develop their own cultures. (Heavens, that sounds so darn pretentious.) Once a tone gets set it's hard to change. I also think there are a lot more genuinely immature people there than here. Also, it's not in any real way a "community"- for the most part, people just have their own programming interests, and don't care much about offending people who care about something else. I guess it's best just to ignore or not read the stuff that doesn't interest you, but some people instead decide to hurl abuse at threads that aren't on their own favourite topics. Oh, and some of the Challenge? mods are a bit heavy handed. Thankfully, it seems that they've finally realised this. I doubt it'll have an immediate effect on certain dumb posters, however.

Pickle, while it may be tempting to go over there and retaliate, after all - why should we sink to their level to get our own points across?
Knightmare fans have done their part - we've gotten another series underway, and negotiations for another. If we keep pushing the wrong buttons, even under another ID, there's a chance that everything we've struggled to get may be halted altogether, and nobody wants that.
If you find the IQ level there too stifling, or the immaturity through the roof - then don't bother with those who cannot be reasoned with.
Sounds like the challenge forums are run by goons and power-hungry buffoons - so just let 'em rot in their own sub-intellectual hell...it's not our problem.

I agree entirely. I don't think it would help. I also know that at least one of their forum moderators reads the contents of this forum extensively, and so it would probably be known as someone from here, and thus do us no favours whatsoever.

LOL cracks up as for the RPG thing, the Knightmare RPG that is filmed every year is fun enough (only speaking from one year's experience though, and I loved it!)...think of a whole field full of us split into teams, Powers that Be and Opposition! We could do a whole season on a weekend campout!

I wanna hold up a floating white skull thingy, and float over to the dungeoneer in play.
I can do good spooky whistling to go along with it, yup yup.

I have been thinking of a KM convention for years now. It is not totally impossible.
How many would be interested? If I have decent numbers I can always sort something out....and get a few people to appear, maybe......
As for the RPG, evrything is a mystery atm as to when the next one will run, but next filming will probably take place next April.
