Hmm, it definitely makes it more exciting for me, but it can make it even more frightening for me!

Well, although I'm not fond of spiders, it's more the way they move that freaks me out, and Ariadne doesn't really move that creepily, especially when she ahem 'kills' dungeoneers who can still blatently be seen below her (I think this happened in series 4). You could see how confused the advisors were, they were like looking up at Treguard thinking 'What's going on, we can still see her?!' I think it only dawned on them when he said those two, infamous words....

I laughed my skull-azz off when Folly insulted her away on Series 4 a few days back...
I tell ya, when I saw her after that, she was quakin' in her web clinging to her mirror an' gorging ice-cream, trying to re-convince herself of her supremecy above the 'mortal morsals', as she called 'em at the time.
Poor luv'...

Yes, I think he means Motley. Sad to hear about poor Ariadne, though, dearie. Couldn't you and your fellow hauntings chase some unwitting dungeoneers to her lair? Such comfort eating would surely do her good.

Well, we DID try that, but Treguard soon put a stop to that, and had us all kept locked away until the next phase. Big meanie he is...
Anyway, Ariadne was never the same after that...which was probably why she wasn't around as much. Motley had made her feel like such a...well, smaller spider.
I DID hear a rumour that she 'ate' folly, by the way...but it was never confirmed. Treguard would merely smile whenever the topic was broached upon, and utter something about 'laughter being the best medicine', or something...

You know, thinking about it, when being faced by a giant spider, the last thing I would think of doing is insulting it......
But then this is why I'd probably die if I want on Knightmare...

That's true, it would be like in Peter Pan when the crocodile eats the clock, or in Jurassic Park 3 when the T Rex eats the phone. You'd be able to hear her before you saw her because she'd jungle with all the bells she'd eaten that were on folly, hehe can you inagine?...

I think that's a case of too much information! I'm not a prude, but I don't like comments like that on this site. Besides, this is a topic about Ariadne so stick to the subject matter please...Ariadne was cool - I wish she'd appeared more in Series 5 and 6, she was underused then.

Ariadne was cool. I prefered her lair in series 4 when it had the two parts to it. Still she had a nice meal of dungeoneer in that series as well as being told to 'Look in the mirror, and murder yourself' from Motley.

Lol. Â That one was Motley at his all time best; 'bye bye Spidey, WOO WOO!'.
The 2-part lair was definitely an improvement on the singular dungeon room from series 2. Â The second part was also quite similar to that used in series 5 where the web was placed above the dungeoneer's head and the 'Queen of all Arachnids' looked frighteningly lifelike from what I remember!
