They were mere Extra's when held in comparison with the glory and MAGNIFICENCE of a floating skull...
We ruled the dungeon, really - they just occupied some spare rooms, now and again.

I think series 5 would be a better bet. I havent seen it, or series 1,2 and 6 but would prefer to see Lord Fear introduced rather than series 6 being shown and he just pops up and starts killing people. That would be like reading Book 3 of Harry Potter before reading the previous 2, you wouldnt have a clue what was going on unless you've seen it before

Erm... for TWFS... Stormgeists were floating skulls. That's, erm, sort of what they were called... are you saying that they are extras to themselves or... erm...
...anyway...
...I say series 5. I didn't like series 1 that much, series 5 is far more detailed and adventurous. It would also follow on logically.
I haven't actually seen series 5 since it was on Sci-Fi, so it'd give me a good chance to relive some stuff I haven't seen for ages! Oh yeah, and there's also the intorduction of Lord Fear.
And he was excellent.

I have to agree with Malefact here. As I see it, Series 3 and 4 juxtapose quite heavily. 3, my personal favourite, saw rapid-fire quests; would not suffer fools [and promptly ousted those who appeared so]; saw the best 'total dungeon' graphics; and just generally was the most entertaining.
Series 4 is much more disappointing, in my view, as it concentrated on fewer and more detailed quests - making passage through level 1 fundamentory, and not only nulling the excitement factor, but also saw a more negative repetition. The one thing I did like was the integration of characters for each dungeoneer to perform a task as an integral part of their quest.
Given this opinion, I think that Series 5 is again, a little on the docile side, and to hit the populus again with a series anything like 3, with that enigmatic factor, then series 6 or 7 would provide that. Yes, it provides continuity errors, but considering Challenge's broadcasting began at S3 and not S1, then that is perhaps a little immaterial in the first place. It's all about ideals here, and I'm not taking for granted.. anything Challenge show, I'm eternally grateful for.
