Essex meet-up

If anyone is in the Essex/South East area and are interested in a meet-up, please could you reply to this message and give details of your approximate location, when you are free etc. so that a suitable time and place can be arranged?
I've never met anyone from here before. I'm sure there is the potential for a good time.

Would it be better to have a get together in Norwich maybe, where the show was filmed.. The down side to that would be that maybe not everyone can get to Norwich...

Whoa! Quite a reponse to this one. It's a shame it's all bad news. ย ::)
I'm afraid I'm not able to stray very far away from home because that would mean having to stay the night somewhere and my finances won't stretch that far. A day's meet-up is all I can manage, I'm afraid. That's why I'm trying to convene an Essex-based meet-up.
I'm working for the next week or so and then I'm out of the country on holiday and I won't be back until the 28th of August so I couldn't make it earlier than that. That does mean that there's a fair bit of time to sort things out.
In terms of safety etc., it would be prudent it several people were to be involved in a meet-up, meeting at a suitably public location. What with all the horror stories we get in the news these days (not that I'm suggesting for a second that that kind of element exists here) the vast majority of us have never met in real life before. We could, after all, be anybody. I don't want a certain someone to think I'm grooming them.
