Knightmare ratings - official figure

What no knightmare, I don't understand the ratings, and the GJ reconed tonight that Knightmare is the second most popular show. But then again I don't surpose it stands a chance against Takeshis ratings 8 out of 10, but family fortunes on Friday? I am slightly more confused. I definately thought KM would have been higher, but there you go. (I'll stop waffling now!) -
I would like to point out that the GJ who said this, is the one who always harps on bout Takeshi's anyways! He aint the GJ who sighned the guestbook btw!
If the GJ who did sign the guestbook say something about popular shows, it would hopefully be very different indeed!

But if you look at the actual numbers of viewers when Knightmare reached the top ten, it got 80 000 viewers (0.08 million) Knightmare could still be getting 80 000 veiwers regularly but this weeks ratings ended at 90 000 (0.09 million) viewers so Knightmare could have just missed out...

If you look at the challenge ratings thread page 1 at the ratings for takeshi's for the week ending 08/06 then Takeshi's peaks at 200 000 viewers (0.2 milion) so, with a the highest numbers of viewers being 150 000 (0.15 million) the popularity of the show is decreasing massively.....

This really does sound like good news, with less people interested in that sham Takeshi's Castle Challenge can focus their budget on something to really entertain the masses...

well its not like Knightmare isnt doing good, its just not doing as good.
But Look how many times TC is on.. its bound to fill up the listings.. after all its just pointless crap that no one really payes much attention to.. The faster they take off that sunday TC bill the better!

WOOHOO, Great to see Knightmare yet again in the Top 10 Ratings for another week, Hopefully this is a good thing for the future of the show on Challenge
Also am I right in thinking this was an Series 4 Episode. I know they have just recently started showing Series 3 again so it sounds like it is although I'm not too sure.

Applying a bit of statistical sneakiness, we can make a new table from that where a programme is only allowed to make one entry, its rating calculated as an average of its top ten ratings:

With all other programmes drawing less than 0.07.
So, Km is their third biggest draw. That surely must be very good indeed.

You could always replace Treguard with Elita if you want someone with a massive mouth or even Jade infact. Elita's got an annoying bubbly personality. Oh no hers is just annoying though

I can only assume that at 11.30pm on a Saturday most people had been chucked out the pub, managed to stagger home and in their drunken stupidity thought Night Fever was actually a good programme.

Howdy folks.
It's all a bit concerning not seeing KM in the top 10 regularly if further series are too be considered. It also seems a bit of a bummer that since Takeshi's Castle occupies about half the total scheduling time on Challenge, the law of averages suggests that turning on Challenge sometime in the evening, that's what you're going to find. There are also mass omnibuses, which are absolutely dire - but again, give T.C. a more monopolising hold on the schedule.
Anyway, believe it or not, that was not my principal whinge. I was arguing to Kieran and Robin last night that Challenge are messing about with KM's scheduling too much - ok, only half an hour each side, but it's still rather infuriating: great that KM is on at 5:00am on Sunday morning, I'll likely be awake for that; great that it's somehow on Monday morning at 10:00am (??) ~ and the late night showings are varying from day to day as well as weekend, between 11:30 and 12:30 I think. I love that there's 'lots' of showings, but I'm less chuffed that there's 'nots' of knowings.
Will have to keep pinned to the website's listed showing times, and at least see if they're true. ~ KaM
