I thought I might put this here because I felt that it might be an idea to have a single, (hopefully) comprehensive bit of info on how to get into Km chat.

The chat is kindly provided by Forester on his own server and is available for any Knightfan to use. There is a session on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 8:00pm and with no fixed end time.

To get in, on the front page of www.knightmare.com click on Interactive (one of the options on the menu on the left-hand side). This will take you to the Interactive Knightmare website.

Once there, click Clients. This will provide you with a selection of programs that you can use. My own favourite is jIRC because you don't have to download and/or install anything and there are no known security risks.

Select the client that you'd like to use. Choose a name for yourself.

==> You need to make sure that the port selected is 6667. <==

Once you're happy, click Connect (or equivalent) and you should enter.

If you have any problems, there are all manner of kind people who can help out. Check out this forum, too, because if there's a problem that's affecting everyone, there may well be a thread explaining what it is and possibly offering a solution.

[This is correct, I'm assuming, at the time of writing.]
