Returning dungeoneer

Hi all, I'm new to this forum (which I came across thru a search engine). I appeared on Knightmare in 1991/92 (it's been so long now I can't remember!), when I was 14/15 years of age. But I do have really fond memories of the whole experience (from the auditions, to satying up in Norwich 4 a week, filmimg etc and having a load of FUN along the way) and they'll stay with me forever. btw I wouldn't call myself a fanatic fan of the show or anything but I wish they'd bring it back! Anyone else here been on the show...?

Well for some reason beforehand we had all decided that we would take a gem along with something else (good for trading we thought). This made us overlook what the riddle on the scroll was indicating - *amber * (cos the witches only trade with amber). There was an amber necklace there but we didn't even think of taking it The other object we took was correct - a potion - that helped Sidriss (Houdrass's daughter). Well what finally happened was that the witches did not give us the password we needed in order to get past the Dreadnort and I eventually got torn limb from limb Looking back I cringe to think how dumb we were but hey at least we got the chance to be on it, everything else was brill!

hmmm... I'd have to think about that one...
Just one thing...I was a bit astonished when I noticed that most people on this forum are pretty young (teens to early twenties). So how did you guys get into Knightmare? How old were you when it was on? Because it ended in 1994 I guess I was expecting most people here to be in their late twenties early thirties as they'd have grown up with the show...

I am 20, and I started watching it in 1987! So thar you go, I was a very early fan Nice to have you here anyhow, be delighted to hear of your experience.

LOL! Yes the idea of it is absolutely bizare! and quite hilarious for me!
btw 'Pickle' was lovely, genuinely a nice guy and quite funny, so was 'Treguard'.

yup i love to be a smart ass...
i got into knightmare when i was about oooo....seven...
i remember the mid to late series... forgot about it for a while then snowcat started to pine and begged me to let him watch the re-runs on challenge.... and then he pinned some more, and then he started to annoy me... and one day he dragged me in here and i got stuck........
Anyone seen a black rectangle round here anywhere, i would at least like to go back and visit my own planet from time to time....
