Goblin Orgo??
-
Has anyone noticed in the cast list on the IMDb, it says that actor Barry Foy played "Goblin Orgo" in seven episodes of Series 3?? I've never heard of any named goblins apart from Grippa & Rhark (and Tiny) before.
It does seem a bit fishy though:
-
He's listed as appearing in episodes 2 and 6, neither of which seem to actually feature any goblins! And there are goblins in half a dozen other episodes that he apparently wasn't in. Hmmm.
-
He's also listed as appearing in an episode of Quantum Leap that same year (somewhat amusing, in light of a certain fanfic). However, I looked up the episode in question, and I can see no mention of "Al's nephew" (the character he played) being in that episode. I even found a QL fansite with a massive list of all the guest stars, and his name wasn't on it.
How very curious.

As I understood it (although it's a few years since I read about it, so my memory could be in error), the two people who usually played the goblins were both girls who normally worked in the studio as fetch-and-carry staff.
I certainly don't recall any goblin in the series called Orgo. Nearest name I can think of to that is probably Orko from He-Man & The Masters Of The Universe. I also seem to dimly remember the name 'Falgo' for some reason, not sure where from though.

From the Tim Child interview on the website - "The goblins were played by a couple of Norwich based girl dancers who became good friends with the regular cast. They also played random maids/cavernwights, mermen, etc." There were sometimes four goblins on screen at once, so I guess it's possible this guy might still have been involved... but a lot of things don't add up here.
Falgo was a pooka in Series 6, btw!

On the subject of goblins...
The Goblin Horn Sounds and The Vile and Discusting Goblin Brothers Grippa & Rhark scurry into sight Clubs at the ready.
Is it actually canon that Grippa and Rhark are siblings? I thought I remembered reading it somewhere official, but all I can find are Skarkill's forum posts and the TES entry on goblins. Where did this info come from?
