Lord Fear

It was good to raise the profile of the opposition - I agree with the reviewer who said John Woodnutt was underused as Mogdred, although to be fair to the production team they had an awful lot to get right on the first few series - although I would have preferred the main baddie to be some kind of wizard, in keeping more with the genre, and secondly I felt the distinction between the opposition and the powers-that-be was too clear-cut (in-fighting among the opposition notwithstanding), which ironically reduced the number of subplots that could have been developed.
Conversely, for me, Lord Fear was over-used to the extent he seemed to be there more for entertainment than gameplay.
