What I think's rather a good sound effect is that the frantic screams of the advisors are heard echoing away as Alistair falls down the wellway. They were an extremely excitable lot and, even allowing for the fact that they would never have seen it before (being the guinea pigs, as it were) they never stood a chance in the corridor of blades.  Bit like the second team in another series Chris

Team 6 seemed to get a let-off early on. Gwendoline stated that Alex must score at least 2/3 answers to get the password. Only scored 1/3 but Gwendoline agreed to help him anyway, as he carried her arrow, but she noticed the arrow before she told him he needed 2/3. Amusing moment when they gave Sly Hands the book from Hordriss and Hands turned into a goblin. Finally a scene where Sir Hugh actually served a useful purpose, sending the shifty Skarkill packing. The team used clock-face directions quite neatly to move Alex across the causeway. Encountered Elita at the end of level 1. (Much predictable abuse of dungeoneer.) Elita has certainly livened this series up so far. In the clue-room they asked Treguard if the jam-jar was food and got told, "No, you can't consume a bottle." Just before time-out, they discovered that poor Elita had just lost her voice. What are we gonna do for dungeoneer abuse now?

How is it slander? Or indeed libel? Pickle really did make a comment about a dungeoneer getting the horn, but it was edited out. David Learner himself revealed this, in his 2002 interview with Debbie Glover. Dunshelm/Anthony's gamebook was nominated in the article Something Old as one of Knightmare.com's hidden gems. While not disputing that, it's worth mentioning that for some years it's also been available, and playable, on IKM (the Interactive Section, as Naitch puts it). It's displayed quite prominently in the side menu, as is Liam's gamebook.

The "official" backstory notwithstanding, I imagine she was a submissive in a BDSM-based relationship, or a captured sex slave who'd become brainwashed and completely servile to her master. Who knows what unsuitable-for-CITV thoughts entered the minds of the scriptwriters when they dreamt that couple up!
