Knew Knightmare dungeon master?
-
Hmm, are you sure he's dead?
I thought that someone on the Challenge forum said they'd managed to contact him not so long ago. And I thought I saw that he'd appeared in one of the Harry Potter films.
Do you mean Donald Pleasance? He's pretty certainly dead, but in his prime he'd have made a fantastic dungeon master.

I retract my former statement, then, until definite information is available.
Thinking about it, The Crystal Maze was probably scrapped for the same reason that Km was - expense. I imagine that TCM would have had the largest and most intricate sets of almost all the programmes that were on at the time.

This and other links suggest that the old cosmic handshaker was still alive last year:
-
a quick look on the Internet Movie Database reveals that he is indeed alive, as he is in a program currently recording and due for release in 2004 named "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers"

Back to new dungeonmasters
Angus Deayton?
(YAY! 300th post!)

Ed Tutor Pole died quite a number of years ago... heart attack I think. He was only in his 40's. I remember seeing it on the news. Dunno who the hell the new one is lol but seriously he did die quite a few years back.
Have a good search on the net, as I am sure there is some information on it.
Andrew.

oh but none of the names above have that dungeon master attitiude, it would only workif we didn't know who they where, we would have nothitng to relate to them apart from them being the Master of the dungeon.
But there is the guy who speaks in that stupid game show challenge like to air.. Or we could have a new bad guy... Marilyn Manson! LOL
Personaly Id have Hugo back in a heart beat but if it wasent possible then I cant see  why having somone known would be detrimental.  You can use stories about relationships to the former dungeon master for known actors just as well as an unknown one.  Also it has the added benefit of atracting fans of the said actor/actress to the new seris.  Of course you have to be very careful in not recruiting somone who would make peope fans and alike turn off . Â
Maybe it wouldent be somone that famous, maybe it could be somone  a bit will known who was a fan as a kid.
How about Jon Tickle?, can you imagine it?, the sarcasum would be hilarious.

Sounds funny:
Merlin: Welcome...Pickle who are these people?
Pickle: Theyre the ones that are too scared to acceot the challenge, but brave enough to watch other walk in the dungeons
Merlin: What?
Pickle: Theyre the watchers....
Advisor: Quick give us some information!
Merlin: Z,Z,Z,Z,Z,Z,Z....

Thanks Tickle....
