I'm starting to feel just a little guilty for making that one of my little pet topics, now everyone's at it. And it takes quite a bit to make me feel guilty. I should point out that I don't feel guilty enough to stop mentioning it and making cheap jokes out of it, however.

The "Oooh....... Nasty!" catchphrase is cool! And Im glad Treguard had it!
Its like Leslie Phillips, whenever you see him on TV you just want him to say "Oooh...Hello" or "Ding Dong!" etc!
I think the same applies to Treggsy, its his own personal gimmick!
Yes, in a way, I guess a lot of these little talking points must have really helped popularize the show in playgrounds around the country. To be honest, if he *had *ever stopped saying it, I bet there'd be threads on this board complaining about the fact and saying it was somehow linked to the ultimate demise of the show.

I was never bothered by 'Ooh, nasty'. (Do people still remember the 'Ooh, nice tea' joke that I posted last year?) But, by Series 8, I felt that Hordriss' use of the pronoun 'one' was excessive, and no longer intimidating. Perhaps he should have spoken more Latin...
