Re:Billy's Picky Website Corrections...and other people's, too!

Childrens ITV page: "The competition involved watching out for letters appearing throughout a Knightmare episode, making up a word (like the 1989 competition)." The letters were 'NAMEHERBLADE' (as confirmed by the Challenge repeats).
Does this imply that the letters for that particular competition (The 1990 compo) have been burnt into the master copy for that particular episode? Must be the case if they're on the Challenge showings. Were the letters for the 1989 competition on the Challenge reruns as well did anybody notice? I believe they were on the Sci-Fi rerun.
Seems a bit silly to burn the competition entities in on the master like that because it'll make no sense to anybody else who hasn't seen the CITV section of this site which explains what they are and why the teams didn't acknowledge these odd letters coming out of nowhere. Would have been better to have done it on a copy ultimately for CITV transmission and then put the "clean" version into the vault which Sci-Fi and Challenge picked up.
Links page: KM & Sonic, Richard Howse's webpage, Pooka Times, the sausagenet entry, the ClassicGaming link and Sidriss Starshine's webpage no longer appear to exist.
Sidriss' site timed out due to Freeserve/Wanadoo policy; after 90 days no access on PAYG its suspended, after 260 its deleted.
Pookie's site still exists. It just moved, I dunno if he told everybody. I buggered off
FAQ: "An official Knightmare site was launched in November 2000 by the angliatv.com web team, as part of their 'Anglia Gold; section. It can be found at angliatv.com/angliagold" Website has now unfortunately disappeared.
I archived an early copy of that, I have the entire site as it was of November 13th, 2000. All links are hardcoded and point back to angliatv.co.uk. I might donate it.

It's like saying "Don't loose your temper."
Putting 'loose' instead of 'lose' is possibly the most annoying thing on this planet. Well, except wasps. And third world poverty.
But anyway. Sorry, I don't have any corrections to mention. Carry on, everyone.

A few S2 corrections
New Characters: Igneous of Legend (wall monster) and possibly The Automaton should be on ths list
Also, Casper is not a new character, he appeared in S1
At the cast list , there should be a few "were"s rather than "was"s.
-
Yes, the goblins first appeared in series 3 and even a hobgoblin made an appearance.
Correction: Olaf is not a new character in Series 3, he is an existing character as he appeared in S2.

Has something to do with the website updates not being done yet, as I believe the next edition of the Eye Shield is also due.

Heres another small thing...
http://www.knightmare.com/series/3/l1.htm
"The clue rooms were inhabited by wall monsters Golgarach and Brangwen, replacing Olgarth and Igneous from series 2"
...Arent you forgetting a third wall monster?
-
Another:
Children's ITV main page: "In 1989, Hordriss announced a competition which was to look out for letters in every room, which will eventually form a word connected with fantasy. The word was 'EXCALIBAR'."
One letter out- it was 'EXCALIBUR'. The episode in question was Episode 7, and the letters were shown in reverse order. I know this because that's the episode that was repeated today!
EDIT: Three more:
Series 3 main page: "The word was 'EXCALIBAR'."
See above!
Series 3: Teams page 2: "The word they had to spell out here was 'THE SHIELD'."
It was actually 'SHIELD'.
Series 3: Level 1: "Ariadne's layer from series 1 was adapted in this series to form this room."
Series 2, not Series 1.
Trying to date the S4 clip of Scally intoducing 'another episode of Knightmare' at the moment- if I do, it'll also date Hordriss's appearance. Will edit this post as soon as possible when I've nailed it!

From Julie's quest in series 3 on the teams bit...
"Met Mellisandre again who can't seem to remember that she had met Julie already"
Incorrect she said hello again.
-
Series 8, Teams page 1, Daniel's quest, Level 3:
They must now be Linghorn Castle
This must now be... or They must now be in...
the mighty Bal-Shebah
Dinosaur Name... okay, just kidding... Bhal-Shebah.
They go in to the chopper...
They go into the chopper... or They go in, to the chopper...

Series 4 team 5 were from Wymondham (correct spelling) and not Wyndom, which is how it's pronounced. Funny how some places are spelt, but then again some of the english language is funny anyway. As people have said english is one of the hardest languages to learn, but yet I think the widest spoken language in the world.

On the series 5 page Oakley is placed under the list of new characters, yet he should be in the existing characters section as he definately appeared in series 4.
