Re:Billy's Picky Website Corrections...and other people's, too!

The FAQ question 8 points to the old address of www.talkknightmare.co.uk. Also, series 1 page 1, 'silver proceeds gold' should be 'silver precedes gold'.

A thabulous threesome:

"However, the original episodes broadcast on ITV in 1987 showed this older Anglia production logo."
The Challenge repeats also feature this logo.

Sometimes, idents and voiceovers were used instead of presenters, as demonstrated here at the end of episode 1 of series 6 of Knightmare.
The announcer in this clip is Philip Elsmore, a Thames continuity announcer.

Useful Knightmare listing by Billy Hicks on this free encyclopaedia.
The idea of Wikipedia is that anyone can add to it at any time, so it'd be unfair to say that I wrote the whole thing (I wrote 95% of it, but other people are also adding to it). I suggest just "Useful Knightmare listing on this free encyclopaedia.".

I did a bit of hunting around, and here's what I found:
- The Sci-Fi Channel started on the 1st November, 1995. So it seems Knightmare was part of the schedule from the very start- it was certainly being shown by the 9th.
- By mid-1996, it was shown at 9.20am weekdays, and 11.30am weekends. I don't know if it changed from mid '96, but it had changed by that time.
- By the 27th October 1996 (again, not sure if it changed then or earlier) it was being shown at 10:00am Sundays only. This continued until the 22nd December (29th December was a Battlestar Galactica marathon).
- From the 4th January 1997, it was shown at 7.30am Saturdays and Sundays, and 10:05am Sundays. Before then the listings started at 8am, so presumably it coincided with the channel's broadcast hours being extended. The times were still the same by October 1997.

"18.11.94"
Sorry, seems I miscounted. It should read 11.11.94.
(Spookily, it happened 11 years ago today!)
http://www.knightmare.com/series/8/winners.htm
"Episode 10 : Friday 18th November 1994"
Again, since it started on the 9th September, the 18th should read 11th.

in thge pictures section of the website, there are two pictures of John Woodnutt as Merlin, but the pictures are credited as Clifford Norgate.

Fixed for the new verison, something I had already picked up when working on that page.

Still uncorrected, thought it might be worth bringing this up again.

Some Series 4 ones:
http://www.knightmare.com/series/4/index.php?page=l1
The same style corridor was used for the corridor of blades in the level 3.
The third 'the' shouldn't be there.
http://www.knightmare.com/series/4/index.php?page=l3
This would be started off my either Mogdred or Malice
'by', not my.
http://www.knightmare.com/series/4/index.php?page=teams2
Also saw a Pooka for the first time ever.
It was the second. The first time was during Simon's quest.
http://www.knightmare.com/series/4/index.php?page=teams2
Oakley scares Fatilla away, and gives the team some clues to the clue objects.
The "Also saw a Pooka for the first time ever." should be put after this sentence.

On the Series 1 first page, if you click on the links at the bottom to the individual teams (not the ones along the bottom row, the ones above it, with each link on its own line and a description with it, as well as the 'Continue to the First Quest' link), it comes out on a white background, but if you click on the links on the bottom row (all on one line), it works as (I think) intended. The links shoud be pointing to http://www.knightmare.com/series/1/index.php?quest=1, (numbers going from 1 to 6), but the links at the bottom of the series 1 'start page' for each team instead go to http://www.knightmare.com/series/1/q1.htm.

Ok, thanks. Just spotted another one:
http://www.knightmare.com/series/4/index.php?page=characters
"Don't sit down, I won't be with you shortly": His calling name was MALIFACT
It wasn't, that belonged to Hordriss. Merlin's calling name was just Merlin.
EDIT: And regarding this:
http://knightmare.com/series/4/index.htm
'The Ogre was played by Erin Geraghty'
- I strongly doubt this. According to http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0313873/ , Erin Geraghty is most definitely female. Mistress Goody isn't credited on knightmare.com, and I reckon that that's who Erin Geraghty played. I don't think any of KM's ogres were properly credited at the end of the episodes (probably because they had no lines).
On Erin's website at http://www.eringeraghty.com , there's a CV, and in it is "GoodyBadWife in KNIGHTMARE series". This confirms that she played Mistress Goody, not the Ogre.

One big error. Series 2, Team 1. The quest duration was not 19 minutes - indeed, they perish only 12 minutes into the episode. Their quest is approximately 9 minutes 40, which, as far as I'm aware. makes the wonderful Sunderland lot the shortest Knightmare quest.
I very much agree with http://interactive.knightmare.org.uk/lexicon/entry/Season%202%20Team%201 Forester's suggestion that they were badly done to.
Edit: Forester has clarified with detailed software that Martin's team last 9 mins 46 seconds; Akash's team 10 mins 19 seconds. Hmmm.. I would say I smell a rat, but that's because I'm a Mackem.

The following pictures are in fact from Level 1 of Series 5, not Level 2: http://knightmare.com/series/5/201.jpg, http://knightmare.com/series/5/170.jpg, http://knightmare.com/series/5/180.jpg, http://knightmare.com/series/5/199.jpg
