As one of those who likes posting various Knightmare song parodies, I thought I'd combine one using the lyrics of this year's Christmas No1 with a look back at many of the deaths that featured throughout Knightmare's 8 seasons.

Medusa’s all here to stone ya,
Playpen put end to quest ya,
Cedric’s clobbered you out ya,
Divining rod would have saved ya,
Ariadne has trapped ya,
And humbugs have emptied ya,

So you die Treguard sighs, advisors cry, then they’re off bye bye!
Your best did try, but now you die, you lose your life and perish here right!
Evil smiles, grins so wide, chaos so high – now feel their might!
And so they vie, to rectify, the powers that be, put another fight!
The dungeon’s here fortress, and its host of wall monsters,
Puzzles questors so witless, seek some aid from advisors,
Riddles answered in blindness, one right leave with no guidance,
Next room they then access. They finish so lifeless!

Snakes they bite, scorpions smite, cavernwights blind, yet they threat your life!
Bats they fly, Bohemian’s might, skeletons pry, here to give you strife!
Skulls so high, Pookas dislike, a touch from them and you nearly die!
There is no time, the end is nigh, death has come and your luck has run dry!

Transform – wrong spell it undid me,
Corridor – the blades they did slice me,
Sidestep – left misguided me badly,
Block and – Tackle so hard that it knocked me,
Causeway – I fell down and it killed me,
Skarkill – blew the horn and he tricked me,
Elita – too long did not help me,
Blocker – wrong word and it ate me,
Dreadnought – witch amber would save me,
Sly Hands – had the ring and he tied me,
Cards Right – wrong touch and it dropped me,
Nightsight – had none it ended me,
The Spikes – a trial it then pierced me,
Green Knife – Red Dragon toasted me,
Trapdoor – wrong exit but fried me,
Miremen – my fate they had sealed me!
