New Articles Needed: Site and Forum now Linked
-
'Spose this is the problem: KM forums have been around for 10 years so everything that could be discussed has already been discussed. Then again this is all about glossing things up so I suppose repackaging it as a snazzy featurette article can't do any harm.
-
That looks like the right thread.
There's no harm in repackaging what's been discussed. Call it "well-researched" if you like. I doubt that, in any case, anyone has actually bothered to read all the articles, summarise them, and then form a single, well-argued conclusion.

Might as well write something, no harm in doing so. You got any deadlines and such?
-
Nope
-
Okay, I'll write something at some point. I'm juggling projects at the moment so God knows when it'll get done, but I suppose nothing can go up until the site and the forum have actually been linked.
-
Excellent, I shall look forward to it
-
Just to follow up - it's now possible to log in to knightmare.com and upload articles to the website.
-
May take a while to write something now, I'm afraid - I write programme articles for my local football team, and yesterday I was offered the chance to write every game rather than every second or third. This is coupled with various commitments to people on deviantArt and many pieces of original work I'm doing.
I'm going to try my very best to write something, no matter how small, and I have source material to draw from. You'll just have to bear with me and I'll see what I can do.
-
No problems.
Any member of the site can now log in and submit an article straight from the website. We'll be notified of this immediately, so hopefully someone will be able to edit the article fairly quickly after that, make any necessary changes, and then set it up for publication on the main site.
-
Good news - I've made a start on an article for the site. At a guess I'd say it needs a few more days of work, but needless to say I'll be straight back in touch once it's finished.
-
Awesome
-
Done. How do I send over the draft?
-
Awesome!
You can submit the article via the main site. If you login, under the menu 'Members' is the option 'Submit new article'.
-
Hmm, having trouble. I can't copy and paste the text into the white box, and considering it's 1901 words long I'm not exactly jumping over hurdles to type it up again.
-
Hrm, that's odd. I'm not sure why you can't paste it

Have you tried the paste button? It's on the second row and looks like a little clipboard.
-
Don't see a clipboard button anywhere.

-
This one?

That menu hasn't appeared every time I've loaded the editor. All I get is a plain white box.

-
That's disturbing.
Try again now?
If it still doesn't work, can you please let me know what browser you're using?
-
Nope, still nothing.
I'm using Firefox with AdBlock enabled, but disabling AdBlock doesn't do anything.
