Meetup: Weekend of 28 Feb 2015 in York
-
Sure, York isn't too far away from Liverpool Just create a Facebook event so it's harder to forget the date
-
I'm in - assuming I can get away from my fam.
-
Isn't it quite a long journey for you?
-
York gets the seal of approval here. In reference to facebook make sure any pertinent info is shared here and there as some use one and not the other such as myself.
-
All kinds of in!
-
Looking like we have enough people to proceed.
-
Aww damn, I'd love to come, but February is really busy for me, what with my shows
-
As requested, one Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/785104914866367/
-
I've made the Facebook event fully open for a while.
Join up now!

Hi all,
Okay, we can now confirm that the York Meetup is going ahead!
It's therefore time to start booking while prices are still cheap.
You have two options:
- Send me money (via paypal) and I will book for you.
Currently, the price is £34 for Saturday night and £14 for Sunday night (based on three people sharing a room with a double bed and a sofa bed on a flexible rate). We encourage people to travel up on Saturday morning and travel back on Monday during the day (this permutation is cheaper than staying Friday night and Saturday night).
- Book yourself.
We are going to be staying in the Travelodge York Central Micklegate Hotel (http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/422/York-Central-Micklegate-hotel).
By booking yourself, you can choose alternative arrangements to those we propose, above. However, if you choose to book yourself you MUST post up details of your booking (where and when) so that we can plan the event.
Forester and I have already booked in.

Congrats!
Yes, please don't take the risk of suggesting you go along on this trip. We'd all miss you greatly

Hi, I totally forgot about this! I'll send the money for the meetup soon (for the hotel booking) and keep an eye on the thread
