Parody of Santa Claus Is Coming to Town
-
Incidentally, can anyone think of a song which features 'dungeon' either in the title or in the lyrics? I can think of one...
I've just thought of a second one, I think: 'Chains' by Tina Arena.
On the subject of parodies, I recently heard about a great parody of Boney M's 'Rivers Of Babylon' in a song by a group called the Barron Knights:
'There's a dentist in Birmingham
He fixed my crown
And as I slept
He filled my mouth with iron'
I hope I get to hear it one day.
We are getting a few Christmas song posts, so here is the beginning of a Christmas song from me. Treguard sees a Dungeoneer fall to his doom; snow begins to fall in the antechamber; and he bursts into song:
'Last quest-time, I gave you my Helm
But the very next day
You failed a causeway
This year
To help beat Lord Fear
I'll give it to someone special (special)'
Feel free to continue the song.
Or, how about:
'You'd better not laugh
You'd better not spy
You'd better not shout
I'm tellin' you why
Lord Fear is coming to town
Lord Fear is coming to town
Lord Fear is coming
To town
He sees you when you're questing
He knows your courage is fake
He knows when you're in Dunkley Wood
So you'd better be good for Treguard's sake...'
