** .....game.....game? What?!
Yes, back to the topic in hand. Christ, I'll rue the day I ever mentioned the word 'isometric' in a chat forum.
A Smirkenoff sequence may indeed be cool, though I can't see it adding anything to the game other than a bit of waiting around, personally. And sadly, I haven't got any fully-licensed 3D engines in my pocket to knock up a flying sequence anyway - this is supposed to be streamlined, yes?
Don't worry, I'm sure I can work him in there somehow. Although to be honest, the Smirkenoff sections never did much for me anway (unless there were ladies involved.....stop it).
I haven't drawn any characters or animation yet, so I was wondering if you could give me some pointers regarding the style. Might as well start with some obvious questions.
- What should the Dungeoneer look like?
and...
- Should we remain totally shackled to the 'classic' character costumes, or can we update/revamp/modify/sexualize their attire?
I await your replies.

Dungeoneer should look like, well, a dungeoneer. With a series 1-6 helmet, of course.
And Smirkenhoff sequences can be produced if you've ever seen the in-between level sequence in Revenge of the Mutant Camels. Without the 'goat' sounds, of course.
Hang on....'sexualise' attire?

You could always use him Like they did in Series 8.
(unless there were ladies involved.....stop it).
As long as it's Elita and NOT Romanar.

I agree with Skarkill. Romahna didint have a shining personality like Elita
-
I recommend using Smirkenorff in his own room - as in series 8.
-
Ok.... thats scary Skarkill

Series 8 Smirkanorff is good.

Leave Smirky alone.
I always had a bit of a thing for Smirky. Mind you, I've always had a dragon fetish.
Right, I'm off to stalk Drago
-
Ahem, Never thought of that lol.
I'll just have to hope she doesn't see it.
Ah well, If I lose her, at least I still have Majida
Right, I'm off to haggle with Bobbins

Oi put that back. I keep leaving it's jar all over the place. Castle Anthrax is a big place, I try to keep it on top of the wardrobe but somebody keeps moving it...
Skarkill, I'm looking at you!
Right, I'm off to lick a toad
-
Yes - 'sexualise'.
Those of you who read my postings on the 'Knightmare Crush' thread will already know my thoughts on the heavy psychosexual undertones running through the show. To this end, I was wondering if we should be tarting up or revamping the costumes to look cooler, slightly more contemporary (but obviously still medieval-looking), and, well....sexier.
I'm talking about the ethereal, balletic athleticism of Elita, the razor-sharp, dangerously sexy edginess of Stiletta, the dominating, metal-and-leather-clad Lord Fear.... I could go on, but I think I'll leave you guys to explore this bit further.
Does anyone else think this might be a good idea...?
And Darth Vader will not, repeat NOT, be making an appearance. Good God, have some pride in your work.
