    Series 3

The character was definitely voiced by John Woodnutt and sounded like a cross between Merlin and Mogdred.  Since Mogdred isn't normally seen above level 3 that's why he was disguised - anyway he has been in level 2 before when he "welcomed" the dungeoneer to his "playpen".

Thrifty may be as mad as a cornish pastie, but its true - "Falsehood" is a fantastic word.

Still, nothing to wet yourself over...

Same here - wouldn't it be better to publish the file on your webpage then we wouldn't need to download it either.

Good idea though - was thinking of doing something similar myself at one point.

Cedric - as played wonderfully by Lawrence Werber in series 1 & 2.  He provided the voice of Caspar the annoying key too.

oh, and Mogdred is fantastic too.

The reason the life force went green and then back to red on Challenge the other day is because the dungeoneer took the food back out of the knapsack when Golgarach appeared - obviously scared!  The problem here is that their life force was so low that they wouldn't have had time (at the rate it was going down) to answer the three riddles without dying!

I like the idea of the dungeoneer's face decaying!  Nice...

Yes, along with Rentaghost - which is the same joke every week.  Edward Brayshaw is such a great actor - why wasn't he ever in anything else?  Hmmm...

Here's hoping Dick n Dom's resurrection of 80s TV gets Jossy's Giants its first airing for many a year...its still relevant to kids out there - even if the hairstyles aren't.

A set time limit would have taken the edge off completely.  The life force-ometer was used mainly, I reckon, as a tool to tell the team to get their dungeoneer out of the room and stop wasting time.  This would usually be the first warning, the second would be an impatient Treguard comment or, if they hang around long enough, Mr Grimwold or his series equivalent following them very slowly and clumsily.

    Definitely one of these two

Already mentioned - "Mogdred's Little Playpen"

    and

Danny in Series one turning the wrong way and being blown up by a fast-fused bomb.  Think this was the first of Treguard's trademark "Oooh Nasty"s!

Hmm, I reckon the 16+ age group would be very unlikely to watch something which is simultaneously being aimed at 11 year olds.

The only programme I can think of that does appeal to 11-18 year olds is the Simpsons!

I reckon you'd have a weird collection of folk watching a new series of Knightmare.  A bunch of 9-15 year olds then a big gap and a load of 21-28 year olds.  Give or take a couple of years either way.

Maybe that's why she popped up and killed them...perhaps they didn't have the walking off a cliff graphic ready!!

Although I can't remember what happened before then so they may well have been on the right track.

I'm amazed Grotbags had a show in 1992.  I thought she was sent packing long before then!

I missed this special show - did they show Knightmare?

In series 2 the team would usually cast a sun spell or otherwise and the stained glass window would shine on the correct path to follow.  The team followed the path that everybody else had followed before.

Pretty sure the Gargoyle would have gifted them the sun spell for this.

By the way, what was the answer to the riddle the gargoyle posed?  The largest ring in the country.  I thought it was the M25!  But I didn't hear what he said.
