Btw, Castell Coch is pronounced "Casteth", which I only found out when I was planning to go there by bus and had to consult YouTube on how to pronounce "Tongwynlais" - many thanks to the Welsh guy who'd uploaded a video about it!!

I happened to pop back on to the website and saw TD was mentioned at the bottom (forum posts), and as a Welshman...

I accept it's absolutely difficult for non Welshies to pronounce the "LL", but I've just come up with a way to explain it - if you do the "th" sound, then move your tongue directly behind your upper front teeth, and repeat, then finally move it slightly further back along the roof of your mouth, and repeat, you should be able to achieve it.

If you see a Ll at the start of a placename, dropping an L is okay (eg, Llandudno to Landudno, not the Clandudno I hear at times!), but it doesn't work at the end.

Also, on a Castell Coch note, it was recently featured on BBC One (sadly it's lit up in blue, not red!)

Just a query/suggestion really; will there be a chance to pre-book signings/photographs in advance? Also, would there be an opportunity to 'block book' a number of guests at a discount if done in advance?

I just looked out of curiosity; £70 direct from Liverpool, or £80 from Chester. According to Journey Price, it'll cost between £65-£80 in fuel for the trip - which reinforces my desire to drive, otherwise I wouldn't be back until around 6pm on the Sunday!

The offer to drive still remains - per the route, I'm happy to pick up along it, doesn't have to be from the Chester-area!

Precisely. I fail to see how Snapper Jack was "inappropriate"? If being "scary" was inappropriate, then over half of Knightmare was. As said, the "stereotypes" are the only ones that could possibly be deemed inappropriate, with Ah Wok being the only one that would probably cause offence in todays climate

The Televirtual artificial Intelligence work has now reached the point when we can put it to use.

Its time to move on or abandon Knightmare to its current position as a piece of Television history.

If TV returns to it in the future fine. But I detect no signs of it happening.

Meantime I'd like to put the legend and the bestiary to work again.

So I am thinking of a new kind of on-line entertainment.

Not Television - as we know, or knew it.

Not a video game either.

Knightmare was always a cool world. Not too big, not too small, and not too safe. I can also use some bits of the later 3d dungeon who so many of you disliked so much.

Not at all, my dad watched it with me when i was younger, and when i was at home (at uni) watching the repeats he sometimes watched it then. My mum didn't say anything either, just isn't there anything else on!

Been around since Tuesday 19 November 2002 - quite scary that its almost been two years. I drift in and out of posting 'sessions' - i'll post solidly for a month, then drift away - still check the board almost daily though!

An infinitesimal (sp?!) amount better than i thought, and really makes you drool over the prospect! Pretty much stopped watching the repeats now - realising how 6-8 are so much better than at least 4-5 (only due to length!)
