My personal view on Series 4 is mixed, but it does have some downfalls: Weeping Doors: I HATE those bloody weeping doors. They annoy me one hell of a lot with their none stop crying, Dooris in particular. Level 2: Gundrada usually ends up doing about two thirds of it which can be irritating, as it kind of ruins the idea of having the advisors. I also really don't like Fatilla the Hun. Sure, Olaf was slightly thick but Fatilla the Hun is so stupid it's utterly ridiculous. The last one is that I think it's too slow paced, and can drag on somewhat. That being said, it does have some epic moments: Mogdred brutally killing the first team. "Simon, sidestep to your left!" Merlin talking in opposites and confusing the hell out of the team (and at points me). At first I really didn't like Pickle, but he grew on me and I now quite like him.

Simply put, the Life Force has no "set speed"... it runs at varying speeds for no major reason (or at least it would seem). If you're going to consider the end credit versions for speeds, consider the one at the very end of Season 3... it appeared just after the credits started, and began from the start of Condition Orange. I think the only reason it would get particularly sped up would be if there was reason for it (e.g. dungeoneer getting damaged by magic sword), but that aside it didn't really have a "speed"... plus in some cases it was deliberately slowed down (e.g. team walks into L2 Clue Room, with LF already at red. The LF clock goes pretty slowly, giving the team time to get down the stairs and reach the food just as the eyes are beginning to peel away).

Though if it was an error, it was hardly the size of Jupiter's Great Red Spot. Interestingly, since I made the faux pas of confusing the size of Jupiter's Great Red Spot with that of the planet itself, scientists have made note of the width of the Spot decreasing. It's now about 1.3 Earths in diameter, rather than the original estimate of about 3. Well, I think it's interesting, anyway. As our leading aficionado of TV comedy, I'm sure you're familiar enough with 1960s Batman not to need telling what the Joker and Batman's relationship is. Even if Superman is based in a different DC Comics city, I can imagine the Joker visiting via public transport. Joker has his own self-titled comic series in which he did, in fact, visit different cities - a notable example being Joker #4 in which he turned up in Star City, facing off against Green Arrow and Black Canary. In order to make a nebulous Knightmare connection here, arrows were also used by a defender of the Greenwood. I share your opinion: my childhood memories of snap involve special packs of cards (e.g. a Disney set) rather than the traditional decks, and the match taking all rather than the joker taking all. That is also interesting, because I always played it with Jokers as a child. But then again, childhood games always vary according to family, friendship groups, school situations and the individual child. The game of "it" (or "tag") is always a good example - I'm still noting variants in school playgrounds that I'd have never thought of when in primary school myself! Anyway, none of this (except possibly the last point) isn't particularly related to the episode, but still...! Back to the episode, I can't genuinely think of any other game in which the Joker has the ability to take all. Practically every other card game I can think of has the aim of losing your cards (apart from trick-winning games, like whist, pontoon or pooka... er, poker). Variants aside, I'm still inclined to think of snap as the logical choice. The team took a very long time and a clue from Treguard to get it - I'm surprised Paul Valentine's muscles didn't seize up!

Last of series 7  ;D Treguard! Barry, Majida....I'll get you if its the LAST THING I DO!!!

Now we can have a good look at that finial team when they get up and check of they do get sliced. Anway the room they showed during the end credits.. i don't remember seeing that before?

One thing I like in the closing moments of the scene is the inimitable Hugo Myatt saying my first name in the team's farewell. Given it's a rare one it has the almost feeling of being addressed directly by the great man himself.
