    I was quite startled and saddened by the enormous backlash against Jodie's first season, as I thought it was the deepest breath of fresh air the series had had in years. In particular, everything was new. There was no recycling of tired old monsters that had been used a zillion times in the past, almost no gratuitous backward referencing, and plenty of new enemies and guest characters. Yeeeesssss, that's exactly what I felt. Really enjoyed that first series; shame it all went wrong after that. (Disagree about the companions, though - I love the show most with a full TARDIS crew!) And then, they brought bloody TENNANT back! I'm so glad I'm not the only person who had that reaction...

    if she gets to post fiction, i get to post slash (can i post slash if i suitably disclaim it?  the stocks in knightmare are just too tempting) okay, i do a lot of things.  i am a computer science student at uea (norwich), i work at uci (the cinema), i am a bondage model (it pays and it's fun) and i do the occasional bit of freelance web design because i am good.

    I think it would help if more of you came to Knightmare Chat [out of interest, why don't you?], that way the new people could get to know everyone else quicker and easier. Talking of KM chat, is it alive or dead tonight? I can't get it to work at all. Is that a more widespread fault or have the goblins just been attacking my system again?

    Thatcher? What a dreadful thought - she'd privatise the show, forcing it onto ITV! Hey that could be a good thing as that would definately suit those people who don't have sky or Cable. Also they could show that instead of some of the rubbish that they show for the kidsies nowadays . I think that if that means that it would go back to terrestrial tv then yes getting Margeret Thatcher would be a great thing anyday!

    harry potter stories are ok but noway compared to lord of the rings which is a MUCH better book although harry potter film is better than lord of the rings film

    How dare you cast aspersions on Kerplunk! All the little marbles bounce off the straws and fall so yay! then you realise you forgot to turn the thing around after your go and all the marbles fall into your tray so you throw it out of the window and wait until the loud smashing noise before playing dominoes instead and stuff.     cotton wool (and/or clouds) the lion in carebears (how does Darwin explain that one) rusty yarn apples with pips apples without pips a pommegranite in an overcoat ferrets that are not on leashes diesel theft (especially red diesel) fake lead (ie:the stuff you get in pencils nowadays grrr its just not the same without the danger) when i arrive at the roupe late and all the best trough is gone (curses) etc
