Barry's quest is always going to be one of those situations we will never know. Like Geoff Hurst in '66 (though the ball did go over the line), Barry's blade will always be one of those where we will enver know. If he did actually get hit, does anyone know if there was another team standing by. there would not be much time to stop the troll at the seris end would there?

That is a very good analogy! All you need now is for a Russian linesman (or some kind of pasing wizard in level 3) to state that the blade did not slice Barry- and if it did, it wouldn't have hurt much anyway, as it would have just nicked him a little.

CoB used to scare me- I didn't like the noises much (I was about 3 and tried to force myself to not watch the show, which was of course, impossible).
Me and my mate from primary school all them years ago (I'm now 18) wanted to build a balsa wood Knightmare castle with all the rooms in it including CoB- now I look back and think- Impossible!!
...So I have created a game that incorporates it. (see other topic..erm... you'll find it)

I agree with that- CoB was a very scary challenge, particularly in series 8 where the blood and the music made it even worse. Although this series has often been slated, you gotta admit that the way they built up to some of the scenes was well done. In team 2 (Daniel)'s quest, Treguard really plays the final scenes well. At the time I was well-scared!

The annoying team that was mentioned on earlier pages,was that the ones which couldnt make up thier minds about giving Elita a gem so cos they took so long, when they finally gave it to her she ran off without helping them! God they were an annoying team! Had to laugh when that happened! sorry its mean i know! Im nice really! lol

possibly the best team were the guys with the cool hawaiian shirts from series 7! they were the ones killed by the trial by spikes when the troll blocked the way. they missed part of spell! they were slow but they were funky guys and they made me chuckle!
Barrys quest was kinda funny too cos all the characters got fed up with him interupting them all the time! I recall one moment when sylvester hands tells him to stop crowding him! he looked set to punch him one lol!

Yeah I remeber Barrys Team they where a good team yeah and that scene with Sly Hands had me in stiches - how old would barry's team be now??

not sure, i reckon they were about 14 at the time. and it was 12 years ago, yeah? haha! probably all married with kids by now or in good cushty jobs! great memories though. I wrote in to be a contestant and they said we would be considered if another series was made, but there wasnt. I wonder if that still stands if they ever remake it? lol
