Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say a big thanks to Mystara for taking over the site (its now in his ownership) and to those who helped transfer everything across. I cannot believe some of the pages are more than 10 years old... seems like only yesterday I was putting them together! It needed a re-design years ago to bring it up to date and I'm glad it's now happened.

And a big thanks to all of you over the last 10 years who has contributed to the site and made all those years of late nights worth it putting it all together. I'm not around much anymore but hope the site lives on.

No problems to report here. Okay, I've only just got round to posting my first message on the new design forum! Good work.

I'm pleased to say that we now have someone (mystara) in the process of taking over the technical aspects of the website and looking at a re-design.

There will be no immediate changes but we will let you know when things happen.

I haven't exchanged e-mails with TC for a few years, so please go ahead and e-mail him via InterMediaLab. I'm sure he will respond but if not let me know and I will try.

I've updated the main page of Knightmare.com with a generic message saying TES is still updated.

As I've mentioned on here before, after 10 years of updating this site, things have moved on my end and I'm no-longer have the time to update the site. We've covered so much ground in that time anyway that even if there were updates they would be minimal.

However the site and forum will remain online. As I've said before, if anyone is willing to take over responsibility for the whole site and update/re-design it (ownership will still remain with me) then I'd be happy to hear from you. There have been several offers of help but no-one willing to take over the whole site.

When I started the site aged 17 I never have thought it would still be around in a decade. Thinking back I hadn't even decided what I wanted to do at university at the time I launched this site.

Heres to the next 10 years!

I had to re-install the forum a while ago and it went then. Will add it to the list of things to bring back!

I was just looking at the forum logs and found that over the last year, there have been hundreds of new members every month, whereas before August 2007 there were only a few each month.

I suspect automated robots are creating new accounts but not actually finalising due to the confirm login by e-mail check which the forum does.

Anyone with experience of this and how to stop this happening?

Methinks that link to the (now non-existant) Off-Topic forum in the news fader should be removed...

(I'm creating a new chat board that you can all join, if you want to talk about non-KM things, anyway )

I am still around . Thanks for the above feedback. There hasn't been much interests from individuals wanting responsibility for the whole website, but some interest from people offering to do bits here and there.

I'm still thinking about the options and will get back to anyone who's contacted me about this soon.

As many of you know I have been running Knightmare.com for the last 9+ years. Naturally things have moved on and I am no-longer able to dedicate the time to update the site as regularly as before.

I would like to hear from anyone who is seriously interested in taking over responsibility for the content of Knightmare.com. This would involve updating the site as and when necessary with news and contributions. There is also the optional opportunity to re-design the site, update the video clips and introduce new features.

Please note ownership of the website and the forum and The Eye Shield will not change.
