WIN AN 'ENTER STRANGER' T-Shirt [ENTER NOW!] -
Knightmare Theme Guitar TabThat's guitar tab. In a nutshell each of the six lines represents the strings on a guitar. Bottom line being bottom E. The number given for the line is which fret that has to be played. So, the opening note is A string fret 5.

Knightmare Theme Guitar TabDunno if this'll paste okay in here, but here goes:
---------------7---4-----------5-------------------------------------------------------------------
-------5---7-----------5---2-------5--5/4/5---4/5---5/6---6/7---7/8---8/9---9/10---10/11---11/12---
---5-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Copy-paste that into Notepad.
I think this is good for the first part of the tune. I'm still trying to get where it transposes. I'll post that when I can.

Re:Download Knightmare Game Here!Do you have webspace you could upload the file to and then email the link? I think you can password-protect ZIP files in case you're worried of people nicking it.

Series 2 - Episode 6Crystal Maze was a quality show until O'Brien left. Ed Tudor Pole couldn't hold a candle to him!

Great Knightmare MysteriesLord Fear has piles from sitting down at his watery couldren thing for too long, hence why he's always so annoyed. Wouldn't you be?
Either that or a group of little dungeoneers once keyed his Fearmobile right down the side and thus has sworn revenge on them all.

The name Dickon HaresNot to sound like a stalker or anything but I did a quick search for "Dickon Hares Teacher" which brought up this Livejournal entry:
http://mynameissmurf.livejournal.com/112535.html
(WARNING - although it's a funny post looking at weird names, there's some really bad swearing in it. Remember kids - swearing is wrong and makes your willy drop off.)
And at the bottom of the post is:
"and, unbesmegginglievable though it may seem, there's two people in the country called Dickon Hares, which means there's another guy out there other than my Biology teacher at MGS with the simply evil name.".
MGS, after glancing at this guys past school list, is Manchester Grammar School. So could this perhaps be the school?

Blatantly Obvious Things That Never Happened...I mean like just a fast sprint straight forward into the doorway before the blocks had the time to fall.
I wonder if any teams assaulted one of the baddies? Y'know, like if Sylvestor Hands started trying to grab 'em they kneed him in the happy-sacks.
-
Things you would never SEE in the dungeons...You mean a death like Mortal Kombat?
I think the goriest death I saw was when that team got sliced in thecorridor of blades and a deep red splatter of blood flew onto the screen.
-
Blatantly Obvious Things That Never Happened...Can you think of any scenarios where the team playing did something that completely avoided the obvious and easier choice?
For example, I could never understand why teams, when encountering one of those floor puzzles where the slabs would fall away, didn't just run fast straight across.
It's a bit like the lying flat on the floor during the corridor of blades idea really.

Things you would never SEE in the dungeons...Brother Mace converting to Islam. (No alcohol allowed).

Re:Download Knightmare Game Here!Does the game run in a Windows environment or is it DOS based?

Series 2 - Episode 14It wasn't as bad as that one team offering her a bar of soap. Yes, what nicer way to tell someone that they stink!

Any campaign ideasIf a 9th series was to come about I don't think it would be a good idea to go virtual reality. I watched the videos of the VR pilot and sadly it didn't do much for me at all - a lot of the appeal of Knightmare are the advisors trying desperately to guide their adventurer through a trap-laden room within a short time-span.
This highlights that perfectly.
The format was perfect before. The old saying rings true for Knightmare - If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Paul Valentine and Clifford NortgateWhoops! My mistake.
And yeah, todays episodes on Challenge were weird! The first one had the group of older guys and had just gotten past Dreadnort. They had just entered the Dwarf tunnels and spotted someone walking into a passage in front of them before the game froze. The next episode featured a brand new dungeoneer at the start! Hunh!?
I find out today though that Clifford also provided the voice of Dreadnort!
-
Paul Valentine and Clifford NortgateClifford also plays Hordriss the Confuser.
As for ole Smirkie I think it may be a cleverly placed blue chair / block seat at the exact same place as the chair appears on the backdrop. The blue needed to project the back of the chair when someone sits behind it. When the dungeoneer is riding on him you can see the chair shake but the person stays still.
It's actually quite interesting thinking about how the blue sets must be set out for each room design. But then again that might just be me.

Paul Valentine and Clifford NortgateI'm pretty sure that Clifford also does the voice of Smirkenorff so how they had the two characters talking to each other is a little puzzling. Perhaps they used overdubbing or taped voice?
