And work on the forth and last Chapter is already underway.
I don't think there was a right or wrong ansrew to the 'pledge allegiance to the dark side' question per say, I think the 'wrong' move in regards to it would be trusting any 'aid' or spell that Mogdred/Malice would give to the Dungoneer.
(But from a Personal perspective as a proud Opposition member I don't see why you wouldn't want to be on the Dark side of the spectrum in Knightmare alliances >:-] )
While its not a series I'm drawn to go back and watch on a regular basis it can not be denied that Knightmare Series 1 is an important bit of TV & KM History and as HStorm said comparisons with its successors is a little unfair.
It's positives are that it sets the premises up very nicely, has some interesting and entertaining characters (Casper The Key excluded) and that it was a big enough ratings success that S2-8 followed.
It's negatives: It's very repetitive and can be slow moving.
(And it has Casper The Key in it)
I'd have liked to have seen what Stephanie Hesp could have done with a role that was an out and out dungeon villain as apposed to the more 'of the grey' characters she played (Mind I'd have just liked to have seen more of Stephanie. )
Ditto for Clifford Norgate I'd have liked to have seen him get a villainous role that was more then just a roaming password guard as The Dreadnought was.
The already mentioned Joanna Heywood as a villain and Edmund Dehn as a good guy also rank high on my list.
and on a similar vain to Mashibinbin I'd have liked to have seen what Jackie Sarwiss could have done with an in Dungeon role either PTB aligned or servent of The Opposition
So great to see this version again.
I definitely feel it flows better then the edited Geek Week version, though I enjoyed that version as well and the shortening of the opening scene lends to the episode flowing better most certainly.
I liked seeing more of Theodora Snitch in her scene and also the extended 2nd Spyglass scene with Lord Fear & Lissard. (Loved the Broadsword reference also.)
The floor puzzle was a nice little addition and nicely challenging. The Gargoyle/Blocker/Wall Monster (Delete as appropriate) was also a fun extra. The Slice Me Dice Me puzzle is still my fave innovation for KMVR and glad it was brought into this. (Also nice to have Garstang mentioned)
Sylvester The Jester still leaves me a little 'Meh' as a character but he has potential and Daisy (Though scripted) I find rather endearing and wouldn't mind seeing her in the assistants role again.
All in all though its a nice little episode and very enjoyable.

LOL hey what do you expect I'm Opposition not Powers That Be. I'm normally trying to stop the people wearing that helmet not trying to put it on.
Now a week on and I'm still at times not 100% sure that the Knightmare Convention did actually take place and that I actually attended.
What a fantastic event, I have to echo the thanks and applause given to all those who organised and ran the convention.
It's hard to pick out some moments to highlight the whole experience itself was amazing. Kicking off on the Friday with the Knightmare Live performance, absolutely hilarious, enjoyable and nostalgic all rolled into one and then the post-show meet up at the Plasterers arms....what a fantastic way to spend a birthday.
The viewing of Lords of The Game and Geek Week The Extended Cut were both highlights, seeing new KM Material was so good it really took me back to those friday evenings watching CITV. Meeting Hugo, Iona, Cliff & Mark all of them great and genuinely friendly people with no big headedness or stand offishness to be found in any of them. Meeting and talking with David Rowe another genuinely great guy and getting both his signature on my Fortress of Assassins Game book and buying from him a print of the "Egyptian Room" (Which is now residing in a frame hung on my bedroom wall) where great.
The Q&A sessions were all informative and enjoyable (Kudos to David for being able to do all that back and forth without ever seeming to be out of breath), Playing the Corridor of Blades and getting to wear one of the original helmets (even if it was the inferior second version) was amazing (once I got it the right way round )
And meeting fellow Knightmare fans including ones I've known through this forum in person was a highlight all of its own. I met some really wonderful people at this con. Some I knew and had met in person already such as David (Drassil), Roz (Gretel, obviously) and Andy K (Snowcat). But I also met others for the first time such as Dark Comet/Deviant Gent, FoxyLF, James Aukett, Mogdred2k14, Mashibinbin, Kieren, Rachelesque & Gundrada as well as others all great and friendly people who really enhanced the experience 10 fold.
All in all a great event, I hope a second one takes place somewhere down the line and if I had to sum the event up in just one word....

Personally I'm a little nervous that I'll be the only one really going for it with the dressing up as a character, it's the first convention we've been to and we want to make an effort...
Is that the blue dress you tweeted about recently? It's possible that a Skarkill will be at large during the convention, and if so then you won't be the only one in costume!
Not only will a Skarkill definitely be at large at the convention but I have it on good authority that a Mistress Goody may also be prowling the Convention.
Slight problem there for me and my girlfriend Roz. We deleted our confirmation e-mails. How are we going to get into the con?
