Knightmare playset - Granitas of legendGranitas having the first crack of the wall monsters seems mysteriously (in) appropriate somehow
-
Unintended Knightmare references on TVIn Knightmare we had on occasion the urgent need to drink something NOW in Dot and Bubble there was the urgent need to pass water instead

Frightknights and other Ron Lyon SculpturesFirst of all condolences for your loss Amanda and I'm doubly sorry the family situation is far from ideal.
Whilst I don't have any myself there are seemingly a good number of them on a well known Auction site. You can contact the sellers directly for any proof of authenticity and can then make an appropriate judgement call. I only know of one occasion when a previous show participant parted with theirs so the chance of getting one of those is particularly remote.

Parody of Pretend You're Happy when you're BlueNathan from Series 8 waxes lyrical about his time as a dungeoneer...
Pretend it's Level 3 when it's actually Level 2
It isn't very creative to do
Maybe you'll find sewers and tunnels without an end
Whenever you pretend
Remember even Tim can dream
And nothing's as mad as it may seem
The little items you haven't got could be a lot if you pretend
You'll find a quest object you can share
One amber globe you can leave when on your own
Just pressure Maldame and she'll be there
You'll never be all alone
And if you get to Level 3
You'll be pretending just like me
The cup is mine it can be yours my friend
So why don't you pretend

From little Closes do Cults and Plagues grow...BROOKSIDE!Another chapter of Brookside's history is now forever closed off as Dean Sullivan, aka the inimitable Jimmy Corkhill, has passed on at the age of 68. Whilst I never worked with him directly he came to offer support and encouragement in the 2014 piece below and did an acclaimed turn in Talking Heads when it was performed in Birkenhead some years ago. Demise of CITVAs reported by Keith (https://www.knightmare.com/fanzone/articles/looking-back/citv-ends-40-years.html) CITV is no more, it has ceased to be! CITV's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! CITV's a stiff! Bereft of life, CITV rests in peace! Etc, etc. Only this time it's different with the channel being forever nestled on our hearts being the birthplace of our favourite and so many other childhood shows it lives on in our memories, discussions, the occasional dvd/vhs/cd/cassette/insert other physical media here of the lucky shows chosen. It's impetus propelled into several seasons of the RPG, a convention, sidestep projects like the Midnight Hunt, Aegis Quest Notmare and the like. It is therefore now more than ever that I rally you as fans to stand up and to take part when the chance arises and stop being armchair adventurers only even if only take part in the next social meetup. It's now almost a quarter of a century since I discovered this site and as mentioned elsewhere I've built some excellent friendships over the years along with experiences I could never replicate only cherish.

Series 7 - Episode 1Personally on a relisten I concur with happier however the notoriously reliable Youtube subtitles give yet a further variation of 'happy else!'

GamesMaster: The Oral HistoryLooking at this it really would be an ideal companion to Knightmare were one ever to be made. One day...
-
TopFoto publicity photos: 1988I love how the boys from St Helens don't look remotely like their 2023 counterparts I see on the bus occasionally!
Great find.
