Re:Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?
-
I have heard in legend of this squirrel who was thrifty. Their kind is abundant on Internet fora worldwide.
-
Yes, it was pretty nasty for a while there. At least his friend the scabby pigeon remained quiet.
-
I think you can find a few examples of old thrifty-bits' punchy wit and sparkling intellect on page 37 or 38 of the General board.
I recommend you take a sewing kit with you though! You may need to repair the splits that will inevitably form in your sides as you read his devastatingly funny one-liners.

I'm discovering odd members deep in the archives...
Zall: Because he was bored of Knightmare and didn't want to see it come back.
James_Aukett: Because he couldn't log in to the Knightmare Discussion forum so moved in mysterious ways instead.
-
Illusion: "I dismissed it for referring to me as Nic Lam instead of 'Illusion'. It only confuses people when the chicken refuses to use my username."
Neil Jones: "No chickens were harmed in the making of this page." NOTE: This is a genuine quotation!
Thrifty_squirrels' stuff is on page 36, by the way, not 37 or 38.

James_Aukett is still a member, but under other names. I get the feeling Zall might have also been him, but not sure!!!
I think Zall was actually someone Malefact knows.
-
At least according to page 37...
The place looked a lot more murky and strange in those days. Only the familiar names of today back then brought sense (or at least our definition of 'sense', put it that way ) to a weird time.
Knice and cosy these days, to be honest.

Actually, I can't confirm it.
But James Aukett would be so happy to be mentioned so often on this page. Or Zagor, or HStorm, or whoever he is...
Wish I'd never imitated him.

FrightKnight: To look at the archive of Chicken jokes and mention old members, keping alive long gone debates. incidentally, was that final life force animation supposed to be a pie...?

It's ok. After all, it was soon after this time last year that I watched him win a good amount of £ on Channel 5's 'Brainteaser', and never stopped pestering him about it during the whole RPG time. The man is a legend - but I still maintain he was lucky: he got two 'ing' words, and while I'd never have got to the final; I'd have won the money, given the impossible chance Cheers to you, James. See you soon.
