I think it was Emii who asked if anyone had been to a convention...I've been to one, the 'Voyager Returns' convention (Yes yes ok, a Star Trek one then ) about three years ago, and I have to say, it was one of the best days ever! It was held at the Norbreck hotel in Blackpool, and was fantastic. There were talks and autographs from the actors, photo sessions with them, dealer tables, and stuff in the evenings like fancy dress competitions, and discos. I'd have to say, one of the main attractions to conventions (besides meeting loads of cool fans of course ) is meeting the stars of the show. Would it be possible to persuade Treguard and Pickle (whose real names embarassingly escape me at this moment) to come and give talks and sign autographs?? And any of the other characters too...I think if a few could come, it could be a really successful con Venue would be something of a problem, but I don't think you'd need somewhere as big and expensive as where traditional cons are held, because the fan base wouldn't be as big (at Voyager returns there were literally thousands of people)

I think it's a really good idea, if enough people would be interested in going, and if it was viable cost-wise, it could really work

I always liked her, she was sweet - and I preferred her and Motley as a team than him and Sidriss - though I did like Sidriss too. Plus I always really liked her name...obviously

I always liked Smirkenoff the best out of all of them, but I suppose it did take longer than perhaps was necessary. The mine cart was cool, as it was quite exciting - never was too keen on the descender.

Smirkenoff was better when he had a voice, and chatted to the dungeoneer it made it less monotonous then.

Very cool to see the first ever ep for the first time! It's very different to the KM we're used to, but it's good to see where it all began. I thought it was interesting that the quest objects must have come in later, and all they were after in the quest was a squire-dom. Plus, the ante-chamber was way too bright for my liking! That definitely improved later on...Treguard looked so young, and I loved the 80s hair, hehe The asthmatic wall monster, ahem well, it was only the first episode, so I did think it was quite a hard quest generally, that left/right thing could have been confusing, and there was nothing to tell then they had to take the lamp not the charm, whereas in later episodes, there would have probably been a scroll with a hint. Still, great to see it, looking forward to seeing the rest

I don't think they expected the winning team to be quite so fast...otherwise they probably wouldn't have bothered with the shortcut, and they could have ended on the winning quest instead of having to bring a new team in who had no chance of winning, even with a shortcut. Still, even so, I thought they could have filled up the remaining time with some banter from Treguard, Majida and Lord Fear, especially since it was the last episode, and really gone out with a bang, instead of bringing in a new team for a few minutes. Still, maybe there was just to much time to fill up without a team...It feels very weird to have seen the last episode of KM! But I was too young to see the first few seasons when they came around the first time, so this will be my first ever viewing of season one, and I'm looking forward to it!

I loved Pickle - he was so cute and funny What is with all these Pickle-haters? Did you not think he was cute?

I loved the rotting skull lifeforce Yeah it was creepy, but then so was a lot of Knightmare...and that certainly is one of the things I remembered from having watched it as a kid. The walking dude was ok...but the pie, ye gads, the pie, what deranged person had the idea that a pie would be good to show the life force?! What on earth has a pie got to do with anything, it just doesn't fir in with the atmosphere of KM, it looks like something out of My Little Pony (which was great in its own right, just not mixable with KM). Nope, the pie was a mistake, I'd take the rotting skull anyday

I love that they show it at primetime then repeat it early in the morning - because, I don't know about other people, but it is extremely hard to tape anything that my mom doesn't want to watch at that time, since she's usually glued to something like Bill Oddie Goes Wild or Location Location Location...but for an early morning showing, I can set the tape, and then wake up with Knightmare and a cup of coffee - what could be better Go challenge!

Well, it adds interest Another thing, not that they could help this, but you can sometimes see the shadow of the cameraman and his camera as they go down the steps from the red tavern in the eyeshield sequence

Thank you HStorm - it's a shame, I love Pickle, and I thought he was a great addition to the cast - but at least it wasn't because David Learner wasn't enjoying it

Yeah, good episode, but I did miss Pickle - I wonder why David Learner stopped doing it - maybe he just had enough. Majida was all right though I suppose...and I definitely remember seeing this series the first time round, which is quite cool - I remember the weird helmet, and that wall-monster with the strange voice, and Rothberry! He was cool Fidjit was good too, but does this mean no more Motley?! All in all, good episode, even though less tough than previous KM.

Yeah, my love, I think someone is trying to take you away from me, perhaps by use of a clone/facsimile used by taking a strand of hair from my hairbrush...we must be on the lookout at all times for strange people lurking round the castle - I realise this will be a difficult task as there are already many strange people lurking who have a right to be here...I guess we'll just have to do the best we can, given the circumstances...

And it's ok, I can understand you getting drunk with Skarkill, he does have a strangely compelling je-ne-sais-quoi about him...hmmm...I am slightly worried about mysef now

Yeah, it was a shame because they were really good - I was yelling "ALCHEMY, ALCHEMY!!!!!!!!" at the screen, but to no avail It was a pity that they would have got the second question right by saying Hordriss, but that other girl answered straight away with Merlin.

Still, perhaps it was a good thing they didn't win, because the crown had just been won - maybe they'd have got there and found an empty space, hehe

And yeah, it was definitely Lord Fear right at the end of the credits, very cool to hear him
