Although I am not here everyday I do like to pop in if i hear a tit bit that maybe worth reporting now this bit may have already been reported as I am a bit late but thought it was worth mentioning anyway

On my local radio about 2 weeks ago they read a poll of quiz shows that people would most like to see return to TV, from the thread title I bet you can guess Knightmare was 8th Bit of an odd catagory for Knightmare to be in but it shows people are thinking of it. Also in the top ten were Krypton factor and Telly addicts, I did not hear what was number 1 as I had to go to work lol but I would guess it was Bullseye, normaly is.

As I can see there has been a bit of chat about a knightmare dvd, well has it ever stopped guess this lays some weight to that cause and also to the cause for Knightmare VR.

Possibly but not definately. People are always eager to talk about things that are near forgotten as it adds an aire of mystery and confusion. Imagine Knightmare had never been shown on Sci fi or challenge lol debate could be rife and no one to put you right evertime you say one thing wrong as I guess very few copys would be about.

I gave up watching Knigtmare on challenge as dont like the channel. Personly I find them very slack, the final thing for me was the advert that said ... Comming soon 7pm LOL WTF does that mean. Due to that ad I missed episode 1 of one series and other episodes of other series due to the constant tampering with schedules. Proud to say Ive never watched challenge since and my decision seems justified seeing as they now show card games cheap or what.

I had never looked for any and therefore didnt know there were any. How does your work, is it text based?. What I was meaning was an online MMRPG ( Masively multi player role play game ) with a stron knightmare theme.

Couild you link me to yours? however I may not be able to play whatever it is as my mighty pentium 1 166mhz pc often objects lol

Well the first thing I will say is unkless it my imagination it seems very quiet around here compared to what it was. I also dont notice many familiar names.

I guess what Knightmare needs is something fresh to discuss. You se all these web based games around the net the early ones were called MUDS ( Multi user dungeons ). Knightmare is a perfect candidate for a web based game you just need a fan with the knowledge.

I think Knighmare would suceed today very easily on modern childrens TV. I dont even think the show needs updateing the old Cromkey effects are more than adequate for creating the knightmare enviroment. Kids of today although different would have seen nothing like this and Im sure would be captivated.

Funnily enough I was thinking about something similar the other day and I thought that you could modify KNightmare by addign a faily element. For example saturday night around 6.30pm 7pm time knightmare as it was only this time the kid is the dungeoneer with maybe 4 meneber of his elder family guideing him ( mum dad sibling and another ). The questions/riddles could be seperated and made harder for the adult members. Personaly I think this would work well.

Hi all anyone remember me?. Didnt think so LOL. Anyway its nice to be back here after so long so where did I go? Well my Dreamcast which I used to surf the net broke down and when I had it repaired the Knightmare.com site was no longer Dreamcast friendly . YOu couldent even see the forum as the colour scheme didnt work on Dreamcasts. Well now i have a PC a very old pathetic PC but a free one, hey the price is right. So you may see me around here a bit once in a while not promising to be an everyday poster as my life has changed some what but I will at least try and be in each week. maybe now woth a PC I can get involved in some of the chat events and stuff which I couldent before.

Not been watching Knightmare I see challenge bought lots more series now but thats who my issue is with challenge. They simply are a rubbish channel one of the adverts put me off them and I stopped watching not against Knightmare but against challenge. Advert said comming soon 7pm with no clue on what day what days etc etc. As a result I missed the first episode of whatever series that was and decided to boycott challenge. I dont even have TC on weekends any more, heh.

How we getting on with a DVD release?, guess Im gonna go and have a lok at this dvd of Knightmare VR in a mo.

Well, I'll have to agree with Pickle here. (now that'll be a first) "I'd have expected it to be more difficult Master". It is something of an anti-climax though... they don't even need to do anything to get past the big Haunting, it just buggers off.

Id have got the first 2 questions easy but would have been guessing at the 3rd.  A slav who told stories about animals is a bit vague without a timezone attached.  I suppose though its one of those that you know or you dont.  Like Chris Tarrent says " its only easy if you know it " .

I'll disagree with the last bit ( I wouldent be me if I didnt ).  I think Dickens quest was far from an anti climax.  Beating Malice, COB, B&T, and 3 questions correct ( 0 wrong in all levels  I think ).  In all honesty if you were a haunting meeting the guys who just did all that you would probably just bugger off as well.

Im not sure if they had to get all 3 correct my memory isnt that good lol.  Ive just been to the series archive and they already passed the B&T, COB and beat Malice.  So having to answer all 3 questions correctly was a realy hard final test if indeed that is correct.

If that is right could somone print the 3 questions as I dont remeber them.  Then we can judge how hard that was.

In Dickens quest S4 if memory serves me correctly the room before last is Dooreen the final door.  This is the only time she is ever seen on KM.  She asks 3 questions which the team get correct then proceed into the final room.

My question is, what would have happened if they had got 1 or 2 questions correct ?.  More rooms, extra hard challenges ?.  Do you think 1 question would have been enougth to make it into the final room ?.  I think this is one of the oddest things Ive seen on KM, using a Door in that late a stage.  Maybe they forgot and had to slip her in.

Well now that was a while ago.  I suppose it was nice of him to drop by.

Motley that looks very like a Dreameye picture.  I suspect its not but the Sega charecters are very similar to that stored on the software for Dreameye.

Anyway a merry crimbo to you all too.

Well I would have joined in before but the chat room and the interactive section of the site is not compatible with the Sega dreamcast which is what I use on the net.

If as snowcat suggested there is a permanent chat room could it be made to a very simple format  so as people with say DC or web tv can use it.

I saw KM from episode 1 but not sure how I knew about it as I was a BBC watcher rather than a CITV watcher.  Shows how old I am but I can remember the day CITV started.  All my mates were real excited and went home and watched the first day of CITV, where as boring old me went home and stuck to BBC.

My first team memory is the team that tried to cast the wrong spell on Mogdred. the long one insted of the short one.  Sorry spell names escaped me now.

I liked this episode, had a few funny and odd moments

So Team 6 with Alex, they tryed to used a spell and it didnt work, Now I thought if you used it in the wrong place, than tough and you die or you lose the spell, Surely you cant use it twice??Was this edited??

Now I thought their death seemed terribly unfair, It seems they were timed on the causeway yet others havent in this series. Also I dont think they were slow, they went through it at a good pace and it would have only taken one more step forward to get to the next square. Also I thought maybe he had steped half way onto the next block which made the current block fall but he is still clearly on the block that falls.

The skull they used the spell on first time definatly had a jaw that moved up and down so maybe therefore they thought it was a voice?.  I think maybe thats why they were let of there.  

As for the death I think maybe it was a bit harsh but then again maybe it was harsh due to the 2 previous mistakes of getting 2 questions wrong and using the spell in the wrong place.  Maybe after that they had to be perfect.
