It's for a good reason, mind, because I've been wondering about the gargoyles' voices, and who provided them.
The series 3 gargoyle appeared only once, and the opinion above says it may be David Verrey. On one hand, that's worth considering because Golgarach only ever appeared in half the quests and McGrew didn't get too many scenes - they had to give him something more to do. I can't get the idea out of my head, though, that this may be the man of a million voices, Tom Karol. To me, the gargoyle has more similarities to Olaf's voice (with Swedish Chef accent replaced by an out-there Oracle of Confusion style...)
The series 2 green gargoyle? Who knows. As it only had to say "doom... doom... doom..." it's possibly they may have roped in one of the cameramen or the bloke who makes the tea rather than one of the regular cast...
It's Mug, though, who I'm interested in finding out about, seeing as I can find no evidence that anyone's ever speculated on this. In Mug's lengthy appearance at the end of series 1, he sounds like the huge troll from series 2 with the horns, only without the electronically-altered voice - and that was Guy Standeven. The same voice appears in both Mug's appearances in series 2. So, am I right?
EDIT: so there has been some previous speculation. So make mine a second vote for Tom Karol and Guy Standeven for the S3 and S1 gargoyles...

The Gargoyle was never individually credited on any episode, so we don't know who played him. Likewise for Series 3's talking raven.

Here's one thing I'd see if you'd all noticed about the original lifeforce clock: in one of the stages of condition green, the knight develops a jaw the size of Lake Michigan, as if he's been punched in the face and it has swollen horribly. What was going on there?

Speaking of S7 and dwarf tunnels... Julie's quest on Level 2. After inspecting clues in the dwarf tunnels beyond the Rift of Anga, troll footsteps were used to hurry Julie along. How exactly would a troll fit in one of those tunnels [chuckle]?
It was one of those tiny trolls that fits on the end of a pencil. It was carrying a huge stereo playing one of ITV's sound effects tapes.

Bagpuss creator Oliver Postgate has died aged 83, his family has confirmed.
Postgate, who lived in Kent, created some of the best-loved children's TV series including Ivor the Engine, the Clangers and Noggin the Nog.
His work, screened on the BBC and ITV from the 1950s to the present day, was often in collaboration with the artist and puppeteer Peter Firmin.
In a poll earlier this year, Bagpuss, a saggy pink cloth cat, was voted the best TV animal of all-time.
Postgate's partner, Naomi Linnell, confirmed he died at a nursing home near his home in Broadstairs in Kent on Monday.
No, it's not Knightmare-related news, I know; but how many of you spent your younger pre-KM years watching The Clangers, Bagpuss, Ivor The Engine and other such Smallfilms productions? I'll bet it was all of you.
I mention this because only a couple of days ago, I was watching Childrens' TV On Trial, not just to see our favourite swords-and-goblins programme mentioned; I wanted to get the whole story from 1951 (or there abouts) to the present. Unsurprisingly, Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin were heavily featured in the programmes highlighting the 1960s and 1970s. Given that this series was made only last year and both of them looked in fine health despite their age, the news that Oliver Postgate spent his last days in a nursing home is hard to take.
With a bit of luck, and a few episodes of Noggin The Nog sent to the Golden Hall, he'll be invited to party forever in Valhalla with Tove Jansson.

The Reach wand seems to be overly-maligned to me, since it gives a new way of doing puzzles in a less unwieldy way than stamping around the floor.
Though the main problem with that wand was that where the cursor showed up had nothing whatsoever to do with where the dungeoneer was pointing it...
